Comedian David Oyando, popularly known as Mulamwah, has reignited controversy around his ex-partner and baby mama, Ruth K, following a series of online revelations that have kept fans and followers riveted.
The ex-couple, whose breakup has played out publicly, exchanged fresh accusations on Thursday, June 19. In a new video posted online, Mulamwah alleged that Ruth began partying excessively and neglected their young child during their time together.
“She started drinking, going to unnecessary outings, leaving the househelp with the child alone in the house… There is a day I locked her out. She came back after abandoning the baby with the househelp for the entire day. I had warned her against going out because the baby was still too young. When I called her to ask, she told me, ‘I’m where I am, I will come when I feel like’. Have you ever been told that?” Mulamwah claimed.
He recounted an incident where Ruth allegedly returned home around 2 a.m., leaving their son in the care of the house manager. The comedian insisted that he had expressed concern over her late-night outings, especially with the baby still in his infancy.
Mulamwah also accused Ruth of developing what he described as an inflated ego after experiencing sudden financial success.
“She came from earning KSh 15,000 and suddenly started making hundreds of thousands. That changed her completely,” he alleged.
The revelations come amid ongoing tension between the former couple, who have repeatedly clashed online over co-parenting responsibilities, finances, and personal behavior.
As of now, Ruth K has not issued a direct response to the latest claims. However, in past statements, she has maintained that she prioritizes her child and has downplayed Mulamwah’s allegations as an attempt to tarnish her image.
