Caltex House Service Station Limited is set to be dissolved, according to a Gazette Notice No. 7420 issued on June 5, 2025, by the Registrar of Companies.
The notice indicates that the company — registered as Company No. C. 12484 — will be struck off the official register within three months unless valid objections are raised. This move would mark the official end of a business that has served motorists in Kenya for decades, particularly under the Caltex brand, known for fuel services and vehicle maintenance.
Members of the public have been invited to file any objections within the specified timeframe. If none are submitted, the dissolution process will proceed as planned.
Caltex House Service Station has undergone significant transformations over the years, especially following the 2009 acquisition of Caltex’s operations by Total Kenya. The brand gradually faded from the Kenyan fuel retail landscape as Total absorbed its network and assets.
This development signifies the final chapter for what was once a prominent service station under a globally recognized brand.
