Detectives in Nairobi have launched investigations after a bodaboda rider and his passenger dumped the body of a man at Afya Precise Hospital in Kamulu, Ruai, before fleeing the scene.
Body Dropped at Hospital Emergency Area
According to witnesses, the rider and his pillion passenger arrived at the hospital on Sunday morning, claiming the man needed urgent medical attention. They assisted staff in moving him to the emergency area but disappeared shortly after.
Medical personnel discovered the man was already unresponsive. Upon closer examination, he was found to have sustained a stab wound on the left side of his chest.
Victim Identified as 32-Year-Old
Police recovered an identification card in his pocket, identifying the victim as Augustine Muteti, 32. His body was later transferred to the mortuary pending a postmortem examination.
Police Launch Investigations
Officers from the National Police Service confirmed the incident and are now working to establish the motive behind the killing and the identities of those involved.
The case has raised fresh concerns about crime in Nairobi’s outskirts, particularly in the rapidly growing Kamulu and Ruai neighborhoods.
