A night out turned fatal after a bar confrontation left one man dead in Chesikaki village, Cheptais.
According to police, Patrick Wakwama succumbed to injuries after he was allegedly struck with a walking stick by a security guard during the altercation. The motive for the clash remains unclear.
Authorities confirmed that the guard has since been arrested and detained on murder charges as investigations continue.
Wakwama’s body was transferred to a local mortuary pending postmortem examination.
