Nairobi, Kenya – October 8, 2025 — Gospel minister Rozinah Mwakideu has responded to the overwhelming online reactions following her emotional interview with her brother, Alex Mwakideu, where she opened up about her past marriage to motivational speaker and pastor Robert Burale.

In a video shared on Monday, Rozinah said she was surprised by how much attention her story received, clarifying that her intention was not to attack anyone, but to share her journey of healing and restoration.

“The last two days, I have been seriously trending. I did not see that coming, but it is what it is. I want to say thank you for the overwhelming love,” she said.

Rozinah Thanks Fans for Support

The gospel minister expressed gratitude to Kenyans and fans from the diaspora who sent her messages of encouragement, saying that many had found healing through her testimony.

“I have received so many messages from people saying they found strength in my story. That’s why I shared it,” she added.

Rozinah also took time to address critics who accused her of bitterness toward her ex-husband, pastor Burale.

“I was interviewed for the purpose of helping, for the purpose of sharing my story. It was never about malice. I have healed, I have moved on, and I believe Robert Burale has too.”

A Story That Touched Many

The initial interview, posted on Alex Mwakideu’s YouTube channel, went viral within hours, sparking nationwide conversations about toxic relationships, emotional abuse, and healing after divorce in Christian marriages.

Rozinah’s openness resonated with thousands of Kenyans who praised her for breaking the silence and encouraging women to speak out about painful experiences.
