Police in Njoro, Nakuru County, have launched investigations into the brutal killing of a 14-year-old boy whose body was found dumped by the roadside on Monday, November 10, 2025, a day after he went missing.

According to police reports, the teenager had disappeared on Sunday afternoon after leaving a local church in the Jordan area. Family members raised the alarm when he failed to return home that evening.

On Monday morning, residents discovered his body lying in a pool of blood along a village road, prompting a police response. Officers who visited the scene reported that the boy had sustained deep cuts to the neck, and several personal items, including a white cap and green belt, were found nearby.

Police said initial observations indicate the boy may have been attacked and killed elsewhere before his body was dumped at the scene. The motive for the killing remains unclear.

The body was transferred to the Njoro Sub-County Hospital mortuary for a postmortem examination as detectives continue investigations.

Authorities have appealed to members of the public with any information that could assist in tracing the killers to come forward.
