Juja, Kenya – Popular Kenyan content creator and prankster Vindee Official was arrested in Juja over allegations of hosting Gloria Ntazola’s brother, Martin, at his residence.
In a video shared on his Instagram page directly from inside a police cell, Vindee explained the circumstances leading to his arrest while surrounded by friends who had accompanied him for a content shoot.
Vindee’s Version of Events
Speaking from the cell, Vindee insisted that his actions were driven by compassion rather than any involvement in family disputes.
“Nimeshikwa nikiwa na marafiki zangu walikuwa wameenda kunshoot. Reason ni kuwa good Samaritan kumsaidia Martin, brother ya Gloria Ntazola,” Vindee stated.
He added that Martin was not present at the time of the arrest, explaining that Martin had previously informed him that he was visiting a friend in town.
The prankster emphasized that he had no intention of interfering with the ongoing family matters, saying he planned to distance himself from the situation once released:
“I have already washed my hands of anything that may unfold between Martin and his family,” he said.
The video also captured a police officer attempting to take away Vindee’s phone as he recorded his message.
