Detectives have launched investigations into the mysterious death of an unidentified man whose body was discovered in a rented apartment in the Fisheries area of Bamburi.

Body Discovered in Short-Stay Room

According to police, the incident was reported by the owner of a short-stay rental after a client who had checked in on April 24 failed to check out as scheduled.

Concerned by the delay, the caretaker opened the room and found the lifeless body of an adult male lying on the bed.

Identity and Initial Findings

Officers who responded to the scene confirmed that the deceased is an unidentified adult male believed to be of Indian origin.

Preliminary reports indicate that two men had booked the room the previous night, raising questions about the circumstances leading to the death.

Upon examination, the body had minor scratches on the right hand, with no other visible injuries observed at the scene.

Investigations Ongoing

The body was moved to Coast General Hospital mortuary, where it awaits a postmortem examination and formal identification.

Investigators have documented the scene and launched efforts to trace the second individual who is believed to have checked in with the deceased.

Authorities say inquiries are ongoing to determine the cause of death and whether foul play was involved.
