Police Arrest Suspect After Discovering Half-Acre Cannabis Farm Hidden in Maize in Nakuru

Police have arrested one suspect after uncovering an illegal cannabis plantation concealed within a maize farm in Moi Ndabi Village, Kongoni, Nakuru County.

According to police, officers discovered approximately half an acre of cannabis growing among maize crops during an operation in the area.

The suspect was taken into custody and is being held pending arraignment in court.

Police said investigations are ongoing to establish whether other individuals were involved in the cultivation and distribution of the illegal crop.

Authorities have reiterated their commitment to cracking down on the cultivation and trafficking of narcotic drugs, urging members of the public to report suspicious activities to law enforcement agencies.
