Motorists across the country will continue paying the current fuel prices for the next 30 days after the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) retained pump prices in its latest monthly review.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the regulator announced that the maximum retail prices of Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene will remain unchanged for the period running from July 15 to August 14, 2026.
Under the latest pricing schedule, motorists in Nairobi will continue paying Sh214.03 per litre for Super Petrol, Sh222.86 per litre for Diesel and Sh191.38 per litre for Kerosene.
EPRA noted that the prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT), in accordance with the VAT Act and other applicable tax regulations.
“In accordance with Section 101(y) of the Petroleum Act 2019 and Legal Notice No.192 of 2022, we have calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products which will be in force from July 15 to August 14, 2026. In the period under review, the maximum allowed petroleum pump prices for Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene remain unchanged,” EPRA said.
The monthly fuel price review determines the maximum pump prices applicable across the country, with adjustments made to reflect changes in global oil prices, exchange rates, freight charges and applicable taxes.
The latest announcement means consumers will continue paying the same prices at the pump throughout the next pricing cycle unless reviewed in the authority’s subsequent monthly update.
