Police have launched investigations into the death of a 38-year-old man who was found dead inside his house in Muchatha, Kiambaa Sub-County, Kiambu County.
The deceased, identified as Samuel Njoroge, was discovered lying lifeless on a mattress inside his two-bedroom house on Friday.
Mother Found Him Unresponsive
According to police, Njoroge was last seen at about 9:00 p.m. on Thursday when his mother saw him returning to his house.
Concern arose on Friday at around 4:30 p.m. after she realized she had not seen him throughout the day. She went to check on him and found him unresponsive inside the house.
No Visible Injuries
Officers from the Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) unit in Kiambu visited and processed the scene.
Preliminary findings indicated that the deceased had no visible external injuries.
The body was transferred to Kihara Level 4 Hospital Mortuary, where a post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish the exact cause of death.
Police said investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
