Detectives in Narok County have launched investigations into the suspected suicide of a 30-year-old woman whose body was found hanging in her home on July 23, 2025.

Brenda Chebet Found Dead in Apparent Suicide

The victim, Brenda Chebet, was discovered by locals in her home in Entasekera village, Narok. Her lifeless body was found hanging from the roof with a rope tied tightly around her neck.

Police confirmed that no suicide note was found at the scene, and the motive behind the tragic incident remains unclear.

“We are treating this as a suspected suicide, but all angles are being investigated,” said a local police officer.

The body was taken to the Narok County Referral Hospital Mortuary pending a postmortem examination and further investigations to determine the cause of death.

Authorities are urging members of the community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious circumstances that may assist the investigation.
