Roots party leader Prof George Wajackoyah has pleaded with President William Ruto to figure out how to legalise bhang saying that it is the only way to uplift the youth and not the Hustler Fund.

Wajackoyah, who was speaking in Emuhaya, Vihiga county said that proceeds from the sale of bhang which would be used for commercial, industrial and medicinal purposes can be pumped back into the National Treasury’s coffers which will revive the economy.

For commercialization, industrialization and medicinal use…kuvuta sio kitu, inavutwa ata leo.

Wajackoyah who campaigned on a platform of legalizing bhang and snake farming said he has engaged Baringo Governor over the same and received assurance that the county is not short of snakes that can be reared and its venom sold.
