Bongo flava singer Ben Pol and Keroche heiress Arnelisa Muigai have for the umpteenth time clashed about their failed marriage which only lasted for 11 months. The two who began an affair in 2018 before getting married in 2020 in a secret ceremony have been beefing as exes for a period longer than their marriage.
This time it is Ben Pol who has ignited a fresh round of drama after he said that he never enjoyed his 11 months of marriage to the billionaire’s daughter. In a candid interview with Tanzanian blogger Millard Ayo, Ben Pol branded his marriage to Anerlisa as purely a social media gimmick.
“If I am, to be honest with you, if you removed the Instagram posts we used to put up about our marriage, there is nothing really good that I enjoyed or experienced about marriage like I see of other couples,” said Ben Paul.
“For us, our marriage was pure aesthetics. It was all about taking pictures and writing colorful captions and nothing much. I don’t mean to demean anyone but in my opinion I feel like I got into a situation to complete someone’s idea of being perfect,” said the singer while revealing that their divorce was finalized after almost two years after filing for an annulment.
As expected, Ben Pol’s claims on her ex-wife angered Arnelisa who said she will no longer keep quiet. Taking to her Instagram page, the businesswoman accused Ben Pol of constantly using interviews to paint her in bad light which was different from what he sent her in texts.
“Ben I see you have really taken advantage of my silence for weakness… You’ve always had the right to tell the interviewer not to ask about me, why are you always making me look bad, yet you send me different from what you talk?” Anerlisa posed.
The Keroche heiress further dared the singer to share screenshots of their communication adding that she has had a lot to say except she chose to keep silent.
“If you are really a man I dare you to screenshot what you have been sending me since December 25 to January 4, I have a lot to say but I choose to be a lady, Its simple, stop talking about me!” Anerlisa said.
