After failing to acquire the Bomas of Kenya for its National Delegates meeting, the former ruling Jubilee Party has finally secured a different venue for Monday’s NDC
Two conflicting factions have placed the party leadership in uncharted territory. The scheduled NDC is intended to straighten things out. Acting executive director Polycarp Hinga urged party members to get ready for the big event on Thursday. He said the NDC will proceed as planned.
“Notice is hereby given that the venue of the Jubilee NDC has been moved to Ngong Race Course, Nairobi. All other details remain as per the notice published on April 29,” Uhuru said in a new notice.
The Bomas of Kenya, the Kasarani Indoor Auditorium, and the ASK Show Ground Hall were the locations where Jubilee intended to conduct the conference. Nevertheless, the management refused the party access to all of these locations, citing ongoing repairs.

The purported attempts to prevent them from holding the NDC have been described as an expensive experiment in multiparty democracy by the secretary general of the Jubilee party, Jeremiah Kioni.
On Thursday, Kioni alleged that the Kenya Kwanza was trying to sabotage the Jubilee party.
“The Kenya Kwanza regime wants to take away this jealousy-protected right. The Jubilee Party NDC scheduled for May 22 remains on course,” he said.
No amount of threats, pressure, or anger, according to Kioni, will stop them from defending the Party.
He claimed that they have arranged substitute locations for the NDC and are in contact with the party delegates.
