Kim Kardashian has admitted that she couldn’t “push her beliefs” on Kanye West, which is how she really feels about her marriage to him.
Seven years after their 2014 wedding, the pair filed for divorce in February 2021. In November 2022, the divorce was finally finalized.
During her appearance on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast on Monday, May 22, Kim Kardashian discussed her “wonderful” relationship with the Chicago rapper and producer.
She added, “You can’t impose your ideals and project them on someone who thinks completely otherwise.
You can’t really push things upon other people, she advised, so “go and discover the folks that do align with what you genuinely believe in.” You cannot expect them to be on the same level as you.
She insisted that her marriage wasn’t a “disaster,” though. Sometimes I feel like people view a failed relationship as a failure, but I don’t really see it that way,“[That’s] 15 years together, 10 years; that’s not a failure. That is so beautiful.”
Despite being “a hopeless romantic,” the 42-year-old stated she wanted to “take [her] time” when looking for a new spouse.
Every relationship might be unique, she said. I believe the most important thing is to just have mutual respect among all parties.
West has gained notoriety for his divisive opinions; he backed Donald Trump, made an unsuccessful bid for the presidency, and urged Jews to “forgive Hitler.” The 45-year-old has made an effort to change his anti-Semitic viewpoint. “Watching Jonah Hill in 21 Jump Street made me like Jewish people again,” Kanye admitted in March.
Ye is now engaged in numerous legal conflicts. Workers of Kanye claim he owes up to $30 million in damages after failing to pay up to 1,000 performers and backstage workers at his ambitious Sunday Service concerts. These include the Sunday Service Choir.
He established Donda Academy, a Christian preparatory private school, in Simi Valley, California, in September 2022. On October 27 of the next month, the academy was abruptly shut down. Donda School allegedly tolerated bullying, underpaid personnel, broke health and safety regulations, and more, according to a recent lawsuit.

After her breakup from comedian Pete Davidson last year, she hasn’t been seen dating anyone in public. The rapper from the song “DONDA” expressed his contempt for the couple by threatening Davidson and fantasizing about his demise in the music video for the song “Eazy,” which features The Game.
North (age 9) and Saint (age 7), Chicago (age 5) and Psalm (age 5) are Kardashian and West’s four children. However, the California millionaire recently admitted to Angie Martinez that raising West as a parent was “very f****** hard.”
