Blogger Pauline Njoroge has been freed by a Malindi Court after the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) declined to charge her.
The National Police Service which had initially claimed that the fierce blogger was found with narcotics had by today afternoon dropped the drug charge.
Instead the Police wanted to charge her with misuse of a technology device, charges that have been previously used to silence dissenting voices on the social media space.
She had also been accused of posting statements with the intention of discrediting the reputation of President William Ruto.
