Police officers in Emali, Makueni County, are actively searching for a murder suspect who is accused of strangling his lover with a towel on Sunday.
Emali Township Assistant Chief, Michael Kivondo, reported that the suspect and the victim had checked into a lodging establishment in Emali around midday on Sunday.
Shockingly, the woman was later discovered lifeless at the lodge, while her male companion was nowhere to be found. The exact circumstances surrounding this alleged murder remain unclear.
Preliminary investigations, as per the assistant chief, indicate that the victim met her tragic end by being strangled with a towel. Her body has since been transported to Kilome Nursing Home Mortuary as the investigation into this disturbing incident continues.
