The teams led by National Assembly leader Kimani Ichung’wah and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka have also agreed to commit to the implementation of the two-thirds gender rule and the commitment to maintaining loyalty to political parties.
They have also agreed to the establishment of funds for the Constituency Development Fund, National Government Affirmative Action Fund, and Senate Oversight Fund.
Senate Majority leader Aaron Cheruiyot, a member of the Kenya Kwanza bipartisan team, expressed satisfaction with the remarkable progress made by the Dialogue Committee in their shared mission to improve Kenya.
He stated, ‘The meeting with our Technical Teams has yielded substantial progress, as we have reached a consensus on a set of mutually agreeable objectives from both sides.”
