She revealed that at the time of the Oscars incident, she and Will Smith had already been separated for six years, shedding light on the complex nature of their relationship.
During the interview, Pinkett Smith recounted her disbelief at the Oscars event, saying, “I was like, ‘There’s no way that Will hit him.’ It wasn’t until Will started to walk back to his chair that I even realized it wasn’t a skit.”
