The Ministry of Education has announced that students who recently completed their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) exams will receive their results before the Christmas holiday season.
The announcement was made by Education PS Belio Kipsang on Wednesday, November 01, while giving a brief on the three-day national examination exercise.
The PS also commended all the parties involved in administering the exam for their efforts in ensuring a smooth process.

Kipsang emphasized that the process of marking the exams has already commenced, with a strong focus on completing the marking within the set deadline.
“All has gone well. I would like to thank our teachers first for their outstanding work, as well as our colleagues from the interior, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), security teams, and all the other teams who have collaborated with us.” Kipsang stated.
A total of 2.6 million candidates participated in the 2023 national examinations.
The PS further reiterated the ministry’s commitment to ensuring that no student is left behind during the transition to the next level of education.
Out of the 2.6 million candidates, approximately 1.4 million sat for the KCPE exams, while around 1.2 million took the KPSEA exams (Grade 6).
