Kenyan YouTuber Vincent Mboya’s public gestures towards Georgina Njenga have sparked controversy, leading to a social media feud between the two.
Mboya, based in Canada, took to Instagram to flaunt his intentions of lavishing gifts upon Georgina, including a car, as a form of consolation for her recent heartbreak. He shared posts showcasing different cars, soliciting opinions from his followers on which one to choose for Georgina.
In response, Georgina addressed the situation during a Q&A session on her Instagram stories, clarifying that she is already in a relationship and expressing frustration over Mboya’s persistent advances. She emphasized that his actions were affecting her current relationship, stating, “Tell this one that I am seeing someone and if he continues like this I will be dumped. I’m running out of words of explanation.”
Georgina also questioned Mboya’s sincerity, mocking the modest amount he sent her for Valentine’s Day, implying doubt about his ability to fulfill his grand promises. She shared a screenshot of the amount sent, adding sarcastically, “If this is the amount he sent me for Valentine’s will he be able to buy me a car?”
Furthermore, Georgina highlighted her preference for privacy in relationships, citing her desire for her current relationship to remain low-key. She mentioned that while Mboya may be a nice person, he is not her type and suggested he look elsewhere for companionship.
The feud escalated when Georgina exposed Mboya’s similar promises to other women, including TikToker Sheryl Gabriella, implying that his actions were merely attempts to stay relevant. She concluded by stating her disengagement from the situation.
The public exchange underscores the complexities of navigating relationships in the digital age, where personal matters often become fodder for public scrutiny and speculation.
