The tumultuous relationship between Tanzanian Bongo stars Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz has seen more twists and turns than a roller coaster, with the messy exes repeatedly finding themselves drawn back together despite their frequent break-ups.
However, in a recent turn of events, Zuchu has announced yet another split, despite the couple reconciling and reigniting their romance just weeks ago, following Diamond’s declaration of being single.
Taking to her Instagram account, the ‘Sukari’ hit singer penned a lengthy post reflecting on their pattern of breaking up and making up, expressing her hope that this time, their separation would be permanent. She cited disrespect as the primary reason for their latest split and shared a video alluding to the adage, ‘familiarity breeds contempt.
‘”Hello family, I had to post this to clear my conscience. Kuanzia leo hii mimi na nasibu (Diamond) hatuko pamoja. I know this has been our thing but as hard as it is kumuacha mtu unaempenda hii naomba mungu iwe ya mwisho na nianze maisha mapya. Despite the end of their romantic relationship, Zuchu emphasized that Diamond remains her business partner.
Zuchu’s announcement of the breakup comes in the wake of Diamond’s social media post featuring him and Zari holding hands and walking together, portraying a couple-like appearance. In the caption, the Wasafi boss referred to his Ugandan ex-partner as his sister.
