A suspected intruder attempting to break into a house tragically met his demise after falling and subsequently dying inside the premises in Kasarani.
The discovery of his decomposed body was made on Monday evening, following complaints from neighbors about a foul odor emanating from the apartment.
According to reports, the tenant was absent when the incident occurred, prompting the suspect to attempt entry by cutting through the window grill since the door was shut.
It is suspected that the intruder fell during the attempt and suffered fatal head injuries.
Concerned by the worsening smell, neighbors alerted the authorities, prompting the police to intervene.
Upon entering the premises, they found the lifeless body of the 44-year-old man in an advanced state of decomposition, with blood present around the mouth.
The body was subsequently transferred to the mortuary for further examination through autopsy procedures. Additionally, the homeowner was notified of the tragic incident.
