Veteran TV journalist Rita Tinina, who passed away last Sunday, will be laid to rest at her family home at Noosupeni Farm in Olokirikirai, Narok County, on Wednesday, March 27th.
Rita, who worked as an Output Producer for Broadcast platforms at the Nation Media Group, was discovered unresponsive in her Kileleshwa residence on March 17, 2024. A postmortem conducted on Tuesday revealed that Rita succumbed to severe pneumonia.
A requiem mass in her honor will be held at the Holy Family Basilica on Monday, March 25th, preceding her planned internment.
According to her obituary, funeral arrangement meetings are being conducted at the All Saints Cathedral from 5:30 pm.
The Requiem Mass will be held at the Holy Family Basilica on March 25th, 2024, starting at 10:00 am.
The cortege will depart from Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru on March 27th, 2024, at 7:00 am, proceeding to the funeral service and burial at their family home, Noosupeni Farm in Olokirikirai, Narok County, commencing at 10:00 am.
Rita is survived by her daughter, Mia Malaikah, and partner Robert Nagila.
