TikToker Brian Chira will be laid to rest today at his family’s home in Gathanje, Ingitei village, Githunguri in Kiambu. Videos shared on social media showed dozens of vehicles making their way to the late Tiktoker’s home for his final sendoff.

Chira’s body had been kept at the Kenyatta University mortuary since his passing.

He tragically lost his life on March 16 following an accident.

According to a eulogy by the family, Chira was the son of the late Sofia Wambui Chira, grandson to Esther Njeri, and nephew to Regina Njoki Chira and the late Alice Njoki Chira.

Over the weekend, a memorial service and tribute ceremony were held to celebrate his life at Rainbow Resort in Ruiru.

An online fundraiser led by fellow Tiktoker Baba Talisha raised a record Ksh 7 million in three days.

Chira gained fame as a TikToker after he was featured in a news piece where he witnessed an accident.
