Renowned entertainer Allan Ochieng, also known as Hype Ballo, was charged at Kiambu High Court on Monday with the murder of Felix Kelian Kintosi, a DCI officer attached to DCI Dagoretti. Kintosi was attached to the Kabete Police Station.

Ochieng denied all the charges leveled against him.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), through prosecution counsel Jenifer Ndeda, applied for his detention pending the completion of a social inquiry report by Probation and Aftercare.

Lady Justice Dorah Chepkwony allowed the prosecution’s application and remanded the accused person for 7 more days at Nairobi remand prison.

He was arrested alongside 6 others, including DJ Joe Mfalme, in connection with the murder of Kintosi.

The other 6 were later released and converted into prosecution witnesses.

The hearing for the bail/bond application is scheduled for May 2.
