Folk Fusion is excited to announce the first edition of the year, dubbed the Flava Edition, set to take place on Saturday, May 25th, at Paradise Gardens, off Kiambu Rd.
This backyard party-style event promises to bring heritage and culture to life through a vibrant mix of music, fashion, food, drinks, and arts. Attendees can look forward to a rich neo-cultural experience featuring performances by Okello Max, the ”Atoti/Cham Thum” hit-makers Watendawili, Benga popstar Serro, Omutibo specialist Fadhilee Itulya, and the new kids on the block, Shad Muziki and We Are Nubia.
DJ Mura and Ally Fresh, who recently released a joint album, will serve the vibes and flava check. The charismatic duo from the Mic Cheque Podcast, Chaxy and Mariah, will host the event, adding to the dynamic atmosphere.
Folk Fusion welcomes Manyatta, ensuring attendees enjoy a unique fusion of taste with their range of flavored ciders, truly making the event #TastesLikeHome.
In addition to the musical and culinary experiences, the event will feature the Folk Soko, offering a variety of fashion, interior design, body art, and accessory vendors. This highlights the event’s dedication to celebrating all forms of artistic expression.
