NCBA has expanded its presence in Kiambu County with the launch of its new Tatu City branch, located within Kenya’s leading Special Economic Zone.

The launch marks NCBA’s seventh branch in the region, following the opening of both the Githunguri and Limuru branches last year.

Tatu City’s strategic development, featuring modern infrastructure like reliable power, advanced utilities and improved road networks, has significantly boosted industrial growth in the region, which has drawn in a diverse range of businesses.

The businesses include manufacturing firms, logistics companies and SMEs, driving job creation and stimulating substantial economic growth.

Speaking during the launch, Group Director, Retail Banking Mr. Dennis Njau said their aim was to partner with every community, providing banking services that are both accessible and tailored to their unique needs.

“Whether you are a resident needing personal finance, an employee seeking a quick loan, or a business requiring asset financing or working capital, we are here to help. We are also committed to enhancing customer satisfaction by bringing banking services closer to the community eliminating the need for long-distance travel,” noted Mr. Njau.

Aligned with Kenya’s Vision 2030, Tatu City has driven industrialization through strategic investments in manufacturing, real estate and commerce. The bank will complement this progress by providing tailored financial products and solutions to these sectors.

Identifying the prevalence of active employee schemes, NCBA has also partnered with businesses to offer customized credit facilities to their staff.

Additionally, the bank has also formed strategic partnerships with real estate developers near Tatu City, providing mortgage solutions aimed at financing the area’s 25,000+ residents, workers and students.

Reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability, NCBA donated 100 trees and planted five ceremonial trees during the branch launch, actively supporting the community’s green initiatives.
