Safaricom PLC has issued a public notice announcing scheduled system maintenance for its M-Pesa services on the night of Monday, April 7, 2025, from 1:00 am to 1:30 am.

In the announcement made on Saturday, the telecommunications giant noted that the 30-minute maintenance window is part of ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery and improve the overall customer experience.

“During the 30-minute maintenance period, all M-Pesa services will be available intermittently,” the notice read.

Despite the expected interruptions in M-Pesa services, Safaricom assured customers that voice calls, mobile data, and SMS services will remain fully operational throughout the brief system upgrade.

Customers are advised to plan any M-Pesa-related transactions before or after the scheduled maintenance period to avoid inconvenience.
