In one of the most hard-hitting clashes of WrestleMania 41, Jey Uso defeated Gunther to capture the World Heavyweight Championship—marking a major milestone in his WWE career. The high-stakes battle took place on the first night of the two-day event and ended with Gunther tapping out for the first time in his dominant run.

The match kicked off with a quick exchange, as Uso delivered back-to-back shoulder tackles. But Gunther quickly turned the tide, landing a thunderous chop that sent Uso tumbling to the outside.

Back in the ring, the Austrian superstar unleashed a punishing sequence of offense—corner whips, stinging chops, and a shotgun dropkick after a suplex from the top rope.

Refusing to stay down, Uso fired back with a spear, a Samoan Drop, and a hurricanrana before hitting another spear and soaring from the top rope with a Uso Splash. Gunther narrowly avoided defeat by kicking out just in time.

Desperate to retain his title, Gunther attempted to leave the match with the championship belt but used it instead to strike Uso outside the ring. He followed up with a Frog Splash and a series of vicious Hammer and Anvil elbows, locking in a sleeper hold that nearly ended the match.

But Uso wouldn’t quit. He broke free and traded brutal chops with Gunther before delivering a German suplex and yet another spear. Then, in a show of heart and determination, Uso landed three consecutive Uso Splashes and locked in a sleeper hold—forcing Gunther to submit.

As the bell rang, the crowd erupted. Jimmy Uso joined his brother in the ring for an emotional celebration, capping off a historic night one of WrestleMania 41.
