Eldoret, Kenya – Detectives in Eldoret Town are investigating a bizarre and disturbing case in which a man received a parcel containing three human fingers tied together with six live bullets.

How the Shocking Delivery Happened

The receiver told police that on Friday, he got a call from an unknown man claiming to have a parcel for him. After sharing his location, the sender dispatched a rider to deliver it.

While the man was in a bar, the rider called to say he had arrived. Upon collecting and opening the envelope, the man was horrified to discover:

  • Three human fingers — a forefinger, a ring finger, and a little finger — all from a left hand.
  • Four 7.62mm live bullets and two 9mm live bullets.

Police Investigation and Evidence Collection

Officers who arrived at the scene confirmed the grisly contents. The human fingers were taken to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary for verification, while the bullets were sent for ballistic testing.

Police have already questioned the delivery rider, who said he had no knowledge of the contents. The sender’s phone is now switched off, making tracking efforts more challenging.

Authorities have also taken fingerprint samples from the severed fingers to help identify the victim, raising fears that the owner may have been killed or brutally mutilated.

Motive Remains Unknown

The motive behind the chilling delivery remains a mystery. Detectives are considering possible links to intimidation, criminal gang activities, or personal disputes, but no conclusions have been reached.

The National Police Service is appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
