Nyanza, Kenya – A political storm is brewing in Nyanza after explosive allegations surfaced involving the son of a sitting Member of Parliament and a senior county official.
According to a popular Kenyan blogger, the two — who reportedly work closely within the County Government — are alleged to be in a romantic relationship, despite a significant age difference.
Secret Hotel Meetings and “Special Room” Claims
Sources claim the pair frequently meet at a local hotel, with allegations that a “special room” is permanently reserved for their encounters. The relationship, while personal in nature, has become a public topic due to its alleged overlap with county dealings.
Alleged Job Recruitment Scam
The controversy deepens with fresh claims that the duo have been running a fraudulent recruitment scheme. According to whistleblowers, the two allegedly solicit cash payments from desperate jobseekers, promising positions in the County Government.
However, victims allege that after receiving the money, the pair disappear — and those who demand refunds are reportedly threatened by hired goons.
While these allegations remain unproven, they have prompted calls for urgent investigations by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
Growing Public Outcry
The alleged scandal has triggered public outrage on social media, with calls for the County Government to take disciplinary action if wrongdoing is confirmed. Political analysts warn that such controversies could damage public trust in county leadership.
