Harrison Kombe of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has been officially declared the MP-elect for Magarini Constituency, securing 17,909 votes in the by-election held on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

The Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) candidate Stanley Kenga came second with 8,907 votes, while Ngumbao Furaha Chengo of the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) finished third with 227 votes.

Other candidates’ votes were as follows:

  • Amos Katana (Independent): 182 votes
  • Karisa Hamadi Chadi (Roots Party): 138 votes
  • Kwicha Jacob Themo (Federal Party): 70 votes
  • Kalama Emmanuel Kitsao (The We Alliance Party): 60 votes
  • Nzai Samuel Kombe (Wiper Patriotic Front): 58 votes
  • Gakahu Sarah Wahito (Kenya Moja): 12 votes
  • Masha John Sulubu (Kenya Social Congress): 10 votes

Kombe’s decisive victory cements ODM’s dominance in Magarini Constituency, with a clear margin over his closest rival, Stanley Kenga.
