President William Ruto has congratulated the Kenya by-election winners, describing their victories as a demonstration of national unity and citizen engagement.
In a statement, Ruto recognized David Ndakwa (Malava), Leonard Wamuthende (Mbeere North), Ahmed Maalim Hassan (Banisa), Vincent Chemitei (Baringo), Moses Omondi (Ugunja), Harrison Kombe (Magarini), and Boyd Were (Kasipul) for their outstanding performance at the polls.
“Your victory is a powerful reminder that we are bigger and better as a country when we are united,” Ruto said, praising leaders from both the UDA and ODM parties.
Deputy President Kithure Kindiki emphasized that the newly elected leaders now carry the mandate to guide their constituents and rally communities towards unity and development.
He added, “To those who did not win, you are still leaders in your own right, and your ideas remain essential in shaping the future of our country.”
The by-elections held on Thursday were closely watched nationwide, reflecting strong participation across multiple constituencies.
