Content creator Gloria Ntazola’s brother, Martin, has secured a job just days after issuing a heartfelt public apology to his family, bringing a new twist to a saga that has dominated Kenyan social media.
Martin went viral last week after claiming he was homeless and abandoned, later recording an emotional interview where he admitted he had wronged his family.
“Mimi naweza sema nimewacost sana… naomba msamaha,” he said, adding that he was ready to take up any form of work to rebuild his life.
Martin Offered Job After Apology
In a video shared on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, social media personality Obidan Dela announced that he had offered Martin employment following his plea for forgiveness and commitment to reform.
“So guys, niko na Martin hapa. Aliomba kazi na tumempata kazi hapa Mara Mall. Martin anakuja kuanza kuuza manguo,” Obidan said.
Martin expressed gratitude, emphasizing that he had turned over a new leaf.
“Eh, eh, mimi ni me-reform, niko fiti,” he said confidently.
He also called on his sister Gloria to support his fresh start by promoting his new work:
“Masiz wakuje wabuy… nataka hao sasa wakuje wanipromote.”
Ongoing Tension With Sister Gloria
Despite Martin’s efforts, tension remains high between him and his sister Gloria Ntazola, who insists she will no longer provide financial or emotional support.
Gloria fired back at critics urging her to help Martin, saying:
“Go and adopt him if you feel you are in a place to help. I’m not helping.”
She also dismissed claims that Martin is homeless:
“That boy has home, he has parents, and he’s got hands to work.”
Gloria detailed the extensive support she has offered over the years — paying school fees, covering rent, financing rehab programs, and even selling her car to assist Martin — only for his behavior to escalate.
Troubled Past
Gloria says Martin’s struggles began early in life and intensified in high school, where he faced disciplinary issues including bringing drugs to school and repeated fights that eventually led to expulsion.
Martin’s new job marks a potentially positive turning point, though the rift with his sister remains unresolved. Whether this new opportunity will lead to long-term change is now a matter of public interest as Kenyans continue to follow the unfolding drama.
