Popular Kenyan gospel duo Wapendwa Muziki have been blessed with their first child, marking a joyous milestone after a deeply emotional journey of prayer, faith and perseverance.

The celebrated duo, made up of Nina (Ninah) and Mesh, shared the good news with fans after Ninah posted a touching video from the hospital ward, cradling their newborn shortly after delivery. The video quickly drew congratulatory messages from fellow gospel artistes and fans across the country.

A Journey Marked by Prayer and Faith

Wapendwa Muziki have previously spoken openly about their desire to have a child and the prayers they made together as a couple. Their pregnancy journey became public when they revealed the news during a romantic getaway in Mauritius, where they shared intimate moments reflecting on their long wait and unwavering faith in God.

The couple noted that the pregnancy came as a powerful testimony, especially after enduring uncertainty and emotional struggles.

Ninah’s Fibroids Diagnosis

In earlier interviews, Ninah disclosed that she had been diagnosed with fibroids, a condition that can affect fertility. She candidly described the emotional toll the diagnosis took on her, admitting that it was a painful and frightening moment.

“The first thing I was diagnosed with was fibroids. You know anything that hinders me from getting pregnant, I just didn’t want to hear it. Of course, I believe in God, and there is nothing impossible with Him, but hearing that there was something that could hinder you from getting pregnant… I was like, ‘Oh God, did it have to happen to me?’” she shared.

Despite the diagnosis, Ninah said she chose to hold onto her faith, believing that God would make a way.

Fans Celebrate a Miracle Baby

Following the birth announcement, fans flooded the couple’s social media pages with messages of love, encouragement and gratitude, describing the baby as a miracle and a living testimony of faith.

Many praised the duo for being open about their struggles, saying their story has encouraged couples facing similar fertility challenges.

A New Chapter for Wapendwa Muziki

The arrival of their first child marks a new chapter for Wapendwa Muziki, whose music often centers on love, faith and devotion. Supporters say the experience is likely to inspire even more heartfelt gospel music from the duo.

As Nina and Mesh settle into parenthood, fans continue to celebrate their testimony, describing it as a reminder that hope, patience and faith can lead to answered prayers.
