A family is in distress after their kin, a taxi driver disappeared under mysterious circumstances on Wednesday evening.

The missing taxi driver identified as John Mwangi was approached by three men on Wednesday evening at City Hall where he plies his trade. They wanted him to take them to Ruai.

His phone was however switched off along the way and his family has not heard from him since then. Efforts to trace his car have been futile as its tracker has also been switched off.

His nephew Joseph Mwangi has taken to Facebook to report about his uncle’s disappearance.

“Kindly help us trace our uncle,” said Joseph.

“Anyone with information where we can find him or his vehicle plate number KDH 505M, Make Nissan Note kindly reach me on 0725380702,” said Joseph

has asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station.
