Police in Mogotio, Baringo County, are looking for a man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death.

Gibson Kimutai – who works at a barber shop as a manicure and pedicure therapist – reportedly stabbed his girlfriend, Kate Wangari, twice after he suspected that she is having an affair.

On the fateful day, Kimutai reportedly went to confront Wangari who was conversing with the man he suspects of having an affair with. The man works at a nearby timber yard.

The man is said to have fled upon seeing an agitated Kimutai, leaving the woman behind. It is at this point that Kimutai stabbed the woman on the left side of the chest and her back.

Residents rushed the lady to Mogotio sub-County Hospital but doctors pronounced her dead on arrival.
