Veteran TV anchor and journalist Terryanne Chebet has made a comeback to the screens after a-two-year break.

Terryanne who last worked for Metropol TV in 2019 has joined CNBC Africa as a senior correspondent and anchor.

She would be focusing on business news in Kenya as well as the African continent.

“I am very excited. Business has always been my passion. I intend to use the platform to tell business stories on business development in Kenya,” Chebet told Kenyans.co.ke.

“We have not decided on a show yet because I just reported this week. In the meantime, I would be engaged in some marketing work for clients,” she said.

Her move to CNBC marks the beginning of her second stint at the station since her departure in 2010. Chebet first worked for the outlet in 2007 as a reporter and producer.
