Detectives nab 24,000 KRA stamps in Eastleigh

Detectives based at the Economic and Commercial Crimes Unit have nabbed a consignment of fake Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) stamps that had been smuggled into the country.

The counterfeit stamps believed to have been imported into the country on March 7 had been stored at warehouse in Eastleigh, Nairobi.

They included six rolls each with 24,000 KRA counterfeit stamps, police said.

One suspect Alice Agnes Nyathira Mburu believed to be the owner has been arrested and will be presented to the Kiambu Law Courts.
