In a shocking incident that has rocked Migori County, a 27-year-old male teacher stands accused of sodomizing a 14-year-old boy in Suna Rabuor Location, Suna East sub-county.
According to area chief Philip Kisiagro, the boy was discovered at the teacher’s home by his concerned father, who had been searching for him after he went missing from their residence.
The young pupil confessed to his father that the teacher had subjected him to this horrifying abuse on ten different occasions, prompting the father’s suspicion when he noticed his son was limping.
Medical reports from the hospital have since corroborated the boy’s claims, indicating that he had sustained injuries as a result of the alleged abuse.
Kisiagro pointed out that the teacher had tried to cover up his actions by claiming that the boy was helping him with farm work. However, investigations have debunked this excuse, revealing that it was a ruse to divert suspicion from the teacher.
The accused teacher was apprehended at the school and subsequently handed over to the Migori police station for further investigation and potential legal action.
Chief Kisiagro emphasized that such heinous acts cannot be tolerated, urging parents to remain vigilant and cautious when it comes to the safety of their children and the teachers who care for them.
