The naked body of an unidentified woman was discovered on Saturday, inside a sack that was dumped in a river in Kasarani, Nairobi County.

Police reports indicate that the woman’s body was concealed in a sack, with her arms and legs bound. Disturbingly, she also had stab wounds on her neck, suggesting that she was assaulted before being discarded into the river, which flows through Lucky Summer.

Initially mistaken for abandoned luggage, the sack was retrieved by the police, who were shocked to find the deceased woman inside. Her body was subsequently transported to the City Mortuary, where a post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place.

As part of the identification process, the detectives also collected the woman’s fingerprints.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and report to the local police station. Families searching for missing relatives were specifically encouraged to visit the City Mortuary to assist in identifying the victim.
