Four workers at St Andrews School, Turi in Molo, Nakuru County suffered severe burn injuries after being electrocuted on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

The men, aged between 50 and 60, were moving a tent within the school compound when it accidentally touched a three-phase power line, causing the injuries.

Authorities from Molo Police Station and Kenya Power visited the scene, then checked on the injured men at St Joseph’s Hospital in Molo to understand the incident’s details.

Medical reports from St Joseph’s Hospital indicate that the men, aged 60, 60, 58, and 50, sustained burns on their chests and legs.

Investigations by the Nakuru police have since been launched.
