Kenya Power has issued an official apology to Kenyan citizens regarding delays in token generation and postpaid bill payments.
In a statement released on Saturday, February 10, 2024, the utility company attributed the nationwide delay to a technical issue affecting both payment systems.
Expressing regret for the inconvenience caused, Kenya Power assured the public that they were diligently working to restore normal operations as quickly as possible.
“We are currently experiencing a technical hitch impacting both our prepaid (token generation) and postpaid bill payment systems. Rest assured, we are actively working to rectify the situation and resume normal operations in the shortest time possible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused,” stated Kenya Power.
