Lawrence Lenayapa, the former Statehouse Comptroller and Ambassador of Kenya to the Netherlands, has passed away. The announcement was made by Ambassador Ukur Yatani, who expressed condolences to the family.
Ambassador Ukur Yatani stated, “My condolences to the family of Amb Lawrence Lenayapa following his passing on this morning. May Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace and give solace to the family.”
Ambassador Lenayapa commenced his diplomatic service at Kenya’s mission to the Netherlands in 2018. Prior to this role, he served as the State House Comptroller for the Kenyan Presidency. He had previously held the position of Principal Secretary at the Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources.
Kenya mourns the loss of a seasoned diplomat and public servant, and his contributions to the nation will be remembered. May he rest in peace.
