NTV news anchor Fridah Mwaka has split from her husband Samuel Nguma Nduli after just four years of marriage.
Mwaka who is known for her mastery of the Swahili language got married to Nduli at a colourful wedding ceremony in November 2019.
Nduli, an architect based in Nairobi was Mwaka’s childhood friend before they took things to the next level.
The two got engaged in August 2019 before holding a traditional wedding in Kibwezi ahead of their wedding.
The traditional wedding, commonly known as ‘ruracio’ was full of pomp and colour. Guests attending the event donned in red-themed ‘vitenges’ to give it an African touch.
In the bridesmaids line up was former KTN News reporter Grace Kuria and Fridah’s friends and family who looked stunning in matching Ankara outfits.
Some of the media celebrities who graced the ceremony include; music producer Patrick Mbaru alias Saint P, KTN News Head of Swahili Paul Nabiswa, news anchors Brenda Radido, Lofty Matambo, Dankan Khaemba, Jeff Kirui and Mary Kilobi.
Now, just five years later the two love birds cannot see eye to eye. While, the cause of their split is still unknown sources say the two have irreconcilable differences.
Mwaka has deleted all traces of her husband on all her social media handles including their famed wedding and ruracio.
They are also not living together anymore.
