Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika took to Instagram to share her perspective on marriage, revealing that she has no intentions of tying the knot again, referring to it as a “trap.” In response to a fan’s question about whether she would consider marriage, Vera emphasized her love for freedom.

In a series of Instagram stories, Vera who was asked by one of her online fans whether she would give marriage a chance said: “I Love my Freedom.”

Addressing another query about her happiness, Vera expressed that she is currently experiencing the happiest phase of her life and enjoys being single

“I Won’t lie, the happiest I have ever been. I love being single to be honest.”

When asked about her decision to leave her marriage, Vera shared that she had emotionally, physically, and mentally checked out long before the official separation. Choosing herself and prioritizing the well-being of her children were paramount in her decision-making process.

“For me, it was over four months before it ended. It was done emotionally, physically and mentally so it was easy and the best decision ever made. I chose ME and wanted the best for my kids,” Vera Sidika responded.

Last year, Vera’s ex-husband, Kenyan musician Fredrick Mutinda, known as Brown Mauzo, confirmed their divorce. In a public statement, Mauzo acknowledged their decision to part ways, emphasizing that it was the best choice for both of them and their children.

“Dear friends and supporters, I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. After much consideration, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways.

“Our journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments, but we have reached a point where it’s best for both of us and our babies, Asia Brown and Ice Brown, to move forward separately,” Brown Mauzo said.
