Late June Chebet Moi will be laid to rest on Thursday, April 18, 2024, with a funeral service set to take place at the AIC Kabarak Community Chapel grounds.
The final resting place for June will be in Bahati, Nakuru County, at the family farm, as stated by the family.
June, who was the adopted daughter of the second President Daniel Arap Moi, passed away on the morning of Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the age of 60.
Since then, her body has been at the Lee Funeral Home awaiting the final rites.
The funeral proceedings will commence with the transportation of her body from the funeral home to Wilson Airport, where it will then be airlifted to Kabarak University for the chapel service.
The service is scheduled to begin at 10 am.
