Social media influencer Christine Irungu, popularly known as Kris Baby, has opened up about motherhood and her decision to keep her family life off social media, saying privacy is a priority despite her public profile.
Speaking during an interview with local YouTubers on Friday, January 30, 2026, Kris Baby was asked whether she plans to post her child online. She firmly said she does not intend to share her son on social media platforms.
“No, I do not think so,” she said.
The influencer explained that she believes not everything in her life needs to be shared with the public, adding that maintaining privacy allows her to preserve something personal away from the internet.
“I have to have something to go back to. If I share everything online, what do I have left for myself? What I choose to share is what people should take. The rest does not concern them,” she stated.
Kris Baby stressed that her family life will remain private, and only the content she deliberately chooses to share will be available to her followers.
“My family stays private. What I show online is what you get to enjoy,” she added.
In addition to discussing privacy, the influencer spoke fondly about being a mother, describing the experience as fulfilling and joyful.
“I love being a mum. I have my baby boy, so handsome. It is such a beautiful feeling,” she said.
Kris Baby also revealed that motherhood was a planned milestone, noting that she had always wanted to have a child by the age of 28, an age she is set to reach this year.
“I have always said I want a child by 28, and I am turning 28 this year,” she disclosed.
Her remarks have resonated widely online, particularly among women navigating public life while protecting personal boundaries.
In a previous Instagram post on Saturday, December 20, 2025, Kris Baby announced the birth of her first child, a baby boy. She described the overwhelming love she felt upon meeting him, explaining that she initially chose to keep the moment private as she embraced motherhood.
“I met him, fell in love, and kept him to myself for a bit. Now… ladies and gentlemen, meet ‘Jojo,’ aka ‘the mjunia,’” she wrote.
